Call for Papers: Cross-culture Reflection on the Coronavirus Epidemic: Global Perspectives
This collection of article reviews the coronavirus epidemic outbreaking in early 2020 in China and its wide-range impacts at social-psychological level in both China and worldwide. We will explore this issue from biomedical, traditional Chinese medicine, medical history, arts psychotherapy and ecology perspectives. The virus is defined and discussed literally and symbolically to address the challenges human beings are facing under the technology advancement and rapid economic development of human society. The collection, via this alarming public health event and crisis, prompt us to build a respectful and harmonious relationship with the nature via humanistic approach which can serve as a guideline for a sustainable human development in the future. Some art works from outsider artists in China will be included and presented in this article. Some article topics include:

  • Virus in the perspectives of biomedical science and arts therapy
  • Traditional Chinese medicine
  • Eco-art therapy
  • Expressive art therapy
